Biography

Julie is a full time actress currently based in Brisbane, Queensland who frequently travels interstate when opportunities arise.One would describe her as determined, focused and reliable with a personality that would light up any room or film set. She also has the ability to mould into any character she is cast for and because of this has been named a "Chameleon"Inspired by classic beauties such as Marilyn Monroe & Grace Kelly, Julie radiates the same class with her glamorous blonde look & fun loving personality. Julie's love of acting in film, television and stage began from an early age. It was a dream that she soon made a reality and continues to do so each day.Julie’s first experience on a film set was when she was cast as an extra in feature film "“Undead"” and since then has played various lead and supporting roles in the feature films “"The Counterpart”", "“Hotel De Barton”" & "“Just Like U”".Julie has appeared in numerous short films including one of her own in which she Directed, wrote and Produced entitled “"The Summit"” which was selected to screen at the Melbourne Underground Film Festival 2010. Julie is set to appear in at least 2 more feature films in 2011 / 2012.Starting out in Amateur theatre and musicals Julie was ecstatic to find herself cast in “Rigoletto” through the State Opera of South Australia and “One FLew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest”. She actively participates in community theatre to continually learn and grow as an actress.Her television appearances include that of "“Hotel De Barton"” (season 2), “"The Notice Board"” (Host), “"Life on Venus"” (Presenter) and was a featured guest on “60 Minutes” and “A Current Affair”. In 2011 Julie was chosen to be the face and voice of "The Bridal Discount Book" where she appears in a video that will be shown virally as well as at Bridal exibitions Australia Wide and has also just finished the Pilot for her very own Television show in which she produced and is presnting entitled "ReTreat Me".
